Web of Post-Its

Of course we must have a Halloween theme! All stores display either candy for sale, Window decorations or costumes front and center, or all of the above.

So we go with the flow.

Step 1. Draw a WEB

Step 2. Grab the bag of Post It Letters

Step 3. Save the Letters by picking one and naming it. (Mine were a little mixed up in the package so didn’t use all 26. Also we don’t want to overwhelm our mixed age group)

Other uses for The WEB in PreK

  • Numbers
  • Shapes
  • Colors
  • Answers to Addition or Subtraction
  • Sight Word recognition
  • Matching

The main object of the game is to have fun while learning. Remember,
Play is a child’s Work.

 

Yard Art Royally

Every year its our tradition to set up a little Fall decoration on the front porch. To start I always employ the help of our little hands on deck.IMG_2743 (2)
