Just me, the tick tock of Grandpa’s clock and the twinkle of the tree lights.

For the Children

Screenshot_2015-12-20-11-05-33 (1)Last week I tried an online auction for the very first time. And……I won!!!

Here are my winnings. A Gathering of 12 Vintage Christmas Stories for children.

Older versions have such superb artistry.

Do you have any idea how spellbound my kiddos will be? You can’t find this stuff on tv or computer screens.

(unless you search eBay)

These deserve to be Cherished and Read to our young.

Florence Sarah Winship is a renown illustrator of books and coloring books. I’m thrilled to have her name on 2 of my new acquisitions.

I’ll be Gathering memories this week!

One Morning in December

Fuzzy on the bottom.

Was it my finger, the camera strap, or the hair of the lady below me in the stands?

My oops photo for the Weekly Photo Challenge is a snapshot of my eldest daughter graduating with honors, Honors College graduate of the UCM Fall/Winter graduation. The Honors College is the second oldest program of its kind west of the Mississippi. Only 12 students were included this Fall.

I’m one proud mama!

More photos, because you know how mamas are with their photos……

My husband, who also graduated the night before with his Master’s Degree. How can one contain so much pride????!!!!                     I’m busting at the seams.

Both of my daughters. I. Am. Blessed.

Family photo moment. Short people always have to be on the front row. Dang it!

A yearly tradition of my family is the White Elephant Party. We have a pot luck dinner, gift exchange, card exchange, cookie exchange, and Tons of fun. But one picture just can’t convey our fun, laughter and good times. I hope you’ll take a few minutes to watch the slideshow I put together and meet the ‘eyes’ of my family. Love em!
